Inge's sketchbook
Inge's sketchbook
I decided to make a thread for my doodles as well.
I realize that I mostly draw people (secretly I am addicted to thinking of new characters to write about and then draw them, but shhhh I never told you guys that) so I want to change that a little by trying out different things as well, like landscapes and animals and houses and dark rituals that will tear apart your very being.

some drawings I did the last couple of days;

A lady in a red dress. I think it looks a little weird around the neck and jawline, like it could have used some more shading.

A character I am working on. I got lazy when it came to the neck and shirt. I love drawing the actual faces the most. Does it show?

A glowy landscape. It started as practice for landscape, but the I wanted to try out some weird lighting. So I did.

Guess who was attempting line-art and cell-shading again? I'll give a hint, it was me. I really need to work on making the lines more clean, I think.

You already know what I think, but I'll have to say it again because your work absolutely amazing. I really love how you work with shadows and your anatomy of humans is really good ^^ Keep up the good work :)

Thanks : D

Also, today I downloaded new brushes, so I did a super quick doodle to try them out. It was fun.

Brushy time, fun time. Still have a lot to try out though.
